Permitted changes depend on the identified style, its available options and technical review. You may request changes to dimensions, metal, stones, finish, engraving or components, but each change can affect fit, appearance, production, testing or acceptance requirements. A style reference or preview does not confirm feasibility. Submit the original style, complete change list, quantity, destination and technical files for review before ordering.
Provide clear logo artwork or engraving text, together with the intended position, orientation, dimensions, color or finish, and confirmation that you have permission to use it. Check spelling, proportions and placement in the proof. A render or visual preview is not manufacturing approval. The final application must follow the reviewed technical documents and, where required, the approved sample.
Some changes may be possible, but permitted changes depend on the style structure, available options and technical review. Changes to dimensions, metal, stones, finish, engraving or components may affect manufacturing, fit, appearance, compliance evidence or acceptance requirements. A visual reference does not establish feasibility or production approval. Provide the original style, complete change list, quantity, destination and technical files for review.
A request may become a new-design project when it no longer fits the permitted customization of the identified style, for example when its structure, function, major components or design intent must be newly developed. The boundary is project-specific and cannot be determined from an inspiration image, render or web 3D preview alone. Describe retained and changed elements, then request classification before quoting.
There is no universal minimum custom quantity. It depends on the actual style, sourcing mode, requested changes, production arrangements and confirmed commercial scope. Adding an item to a procurement list does not place an order, reserve stock or approve a quote; quantity is separate from variant and sourcing mode. Provide the style, variant, changes, target quantity, destination and timing, then check the displayed MOQ and formal quote.
A modified style may need a new technical review, especially when changes affect material, components, process, supplier, finish, packaging, dimensions, fit or the acceptance basis. Production must use an identified, reviewed and locked technical or design version, with relevant sample approval and required commercial and manufacturing gates. Record the changed version, sample, approver and unresolved issues before requesting assessment.
Design and tooling fees are project-specific and cannot be calculated from the style category alone. Assessment may depend on whether the request remains permitted customization or becomes a new custom design, together with technical scope, tooling, revisions, samples, testing and manufacturing arrangements. No universal fee, rate or waiver should be assumed. Request a formal quote identifying the scope, currency, included and excluded costs, payment steps, validity and trade terms.
You can use an inspiration image, render, web 3D preview or virtual try-on as a visual discussion aid before requesting a quote. These materials are not manufacturing CAD, physical fit evidence, certificates or production approval, so they cannot confirm final feasibility, quality or compliance. Prepare a brief covering intended market, dimensions and units, materials, stones, finish, quantity, timing, branding, packaging, permissions and approval contact.
Compare the original and modified style against recorded technical or design versions, not only side-by-side images. Review dimensions and units, metal, stone identity or treatment, finish, components, branding, packaging, intended use, quantity and acceptance requirements. A render or web 3D preview shows visual direction but cannot prove fit, material identity or production equivalence. Link each difference to the original, revised file, sample, approver and unresolved condition.
A customized style is not automatically exclusive. Exclusivity must be agreed explicitly, including the relevant design or technical version, territory or market, duration, products or components covered, permitted manufacturing use, confidentiality, licensing and limitations. An uploaded reference or collaboration request does not transfer rights, and a customization request alone does not establish exclusivity. Define the requested scope and confirm ownership and permitted use in the applicable written project or commercial terms.
