FORMTRUTH / FAQ
Search practical answers about jewelry sourcing, design, samples, production and delivery.
Compare the sample with the current identified design or technical version. Check dimensions, structure, metal, stones, finish, engraving, packaging and the agreed acceptance requirements. Record each item as approved, changed or unresolved, and identify the sample and file versions reviewed. Keep unresolved issues visible and avoid blanket approval until the applicable project review is complete.
The production basis should be the identified design or technical version that has been reviewed and locked through the project process, together with any required sample approval and manufacturing gates. Record the exact sample, version, changes and approval conditions. An old sample, unversioned image or informal message does not automatically authorize a later change.
Sample fees, delivery charges and the number of rounds are project-specific. Confirm them for the actual style or custom project in the formal quote and order flow, including the technical basis, scope, quantities, currency, included and excluded costs, payment steps, validity and trade terms. Do not assume standard fees, quantities, delivery timing or reimbursement terms.
Record every change against the exact sample and design or technical version. Note the change description, affected requirements, sample identifier, file version, decision conditions, unresolved points and the project record used. Changes to materials, components, processes, suppliers, finishes, packaging or acceptance criteria may require further review or testing. Confirm the reviewed and locked production basis before manufacturing.
Photo approval covers only what can be assessed in the image against the identified version, such as visible appearance, finish, engraving, structure or packaging. It does not establish physical dimensions, fit, tolerances, material identity, production readiness or compliance evidence. Physical approval evaluates the identified sample under agreed conditions. A render, web 3D preview or virtual try-on is only a visual discussion aid.
Keep the approved reference sample identifiable and linked to the approved design or technical version. Record its identifier, version, approval conditions, approved characteristics and unresolved changes, with related files and modification notes. The exact custody, storage, access and retention arrangement is project-specific. Before production, confirm that the sample and technical version are locked and ask how this order’s records should be retained.
Compare the sample with the current identified version and classify each requirement as approved, changed or unresolved. Check dimensions, structure, metal, stones, finish, engraving, packaging and acceptance criteria. Record the exact sample, files, conditions and unresolved changes. Do not give blanket approval while required changes remain. Production should use only the reviewed and locked version confirmed through the project process.
Do not treat disagreement as approval. Record each comment against the exact sample and design or technical version, including the disputed requirement or acceptance condition. Keep unresolved points visible and confirm the decision-making authority or required team permission in the actual project workflow. Until resolved, do not lock a new production basis or approve manufacturing from an old sample, unversioned image or isolated message.
A design can change after sample approval, but the earlier approval does not automatically cover the revision. Recheck affected dimensions, structure, metal, stones, finish, engraving, packaging and acceptance criteria. A change to a material, component, process, supplier, finish or acceptance basis may require additional review or testing. Record the change against the exact sample and version, then confirm the reviewed and locked production basis.
Check the relevant authenticated account and project for the identifiable sample, design or technical version, approval record, change notes and recorded approver. Access to saved projects, approvals and account-linked collaboration depends on account and team permissions. Keep each decision tied to the version and conditions it covers. If the history is not shown by the project controls, contact support with the project or order reference to confirm the applicable record.
