FORMTRUTH / FAQ
Search practical answers about jewelry sourcing, design, samples, production and delivery.
FORMTRUTH is for jewelry brands, buyers and designers using B2B sourcing workflows. The platform supports stock purchase, repeat production of an approved style, permitted customization, a new custom design, and designer-original pre-orders. Choose the route based on whether you need an available piece, a repeatable approved style, changes to an existing style, or a new brief. Public browsing and knowledge content do not require an account; saves, private projects, approvals and account-linked collaboration require the relevant account access.
Choose stock purchase for an available style, repeat production for an approved style, style customization for permitted changes, or new custom design for a new brief. Designer-original pre-orders follow the specific campaign terms. Variant, sourcing mode and quantity are separate choices. Confirm the current availability, MOQ, price basis and required approvals in the relevant style, project or campaign before proceeding.
Yes. You can browse public styles, FAQs, guides and articles without an account. Account saves, private projects, approvals and account-linked collaboration require a valid authenticated account and the relevant permissions. Browsing alone does not create an order, reserve stock or authorize production. When a quote, payment or approval is needed, the relevant page will show the required account access and information.
Stock purchase means selecting a currently available style through the stock-purchase flow. Repeat production means making an approved style again, so it depends on an identified technical or design version and the applicable production review. These are separate sourcing modes, and the same style may have different availability, MOQ, price basis or approval requirements. Adding an item to a procurement list does not place an order or reserve stock.
Style customization starts from an existing style and allows only changes permitted for that style. New custom design begins with a new brief and develops a new design direction. A rendered image, web 3D preview or virtual try-on can support discussion, but none is manufacturing CAD, physical fit evidence or production approval. For either route, confirm the reviewed and locked production version, required samples, commercial scope and manufacturing requirements before production.
An individual can browse public styles, FAQs, guides and articles without creating an account. Account-based functions, including saves, private projects, approvals and account-linked collaboration, require a valid authenticated account and the relevant team permissions. Browsing does not by itself create purchasing, production or approval rights. Access to a particular workflow therefore depends on the action and the account setup shown on the relevant page.
No. The five sourcing modes do not all use the same immediate-payment path. Stock purchase, repeat production, style customization, new custom design and designer-original pre-order may involve different availability, quotation, approval, commercial and manufacturing steps. A procurement list is only an organization tool; adding an item does not place an order or authorize production. Payment and stock allocation follow the actual order flow and confirmed commercial scope.
A procurement list can contain separate styles with different sourcing modes. Keep each variant, mode and quantity distinct: a stock purchase and a made-to-order request follow different commercial and approval steps. A new-design project has its own brief and technical version. Grouping your requirements does not combine their approvals, reserve inventory or authorize production.
A typical path begins by defining the intended user or market, dimensions and units, material, stone and finish direction, quantity, target timing, reference files, branding, packaging, usage permission and approval contact. Next, select the sourcing mode and review the relevant terms. A brief or visual preview supports discussion but does not approve production. The project then moves through technical and design review, required samples, commercial confirmation and manufacturing gates. Production should use an identified, reviewed and locked version.
Begin by deciding whether you need an available stock style, repeat production of an approved style, permitted customization, a new custom design or a designer-original pre-order. You can browse public styles, FAQs, guides and articles without an account. Then open the relevant style, project or campaign and review its current availability, MOQ, price basis and required steps. Do not treat a procurement list as an order, stock reservation or manufacturing authorization.
