FORMTRUTH / FAQ

No. A designer-original pre-order may still be in commitment, collaboration or sampling, so it is not a dispatch-ready item. Review the specific campaign’s current stage, published conditions, milestones, expected arrangements, permissions and unsuccessful-campaign rules. Participation or reaching one threshold does not mean production is approved or that the piece will ship immediately.
You should have permission to upload, display, modify or commission the relevant content for the intended project. Downloading an image does not grant those rights. Identify the reference scope and avoid copying protected designs without authorization. If collaboration, confidentiality or manufacturing permission is needed, confirm the written terms before submitting files or starting the project.
The specific original campaign should publish its launch and sampling thresholds, along with its current stage, milestones, conditions, expected arrangements, permissions and protection terms. These details are campaign-specific, not universal platform defaults. A list entry, reservation or collaboration request does not confirm that a threshold has been reached or that production is approved.
If a pre-order does not reach its published conditions, follow that campaign’s unsuccessful-campaign rules and milestones. The result may depend on its actual terms. A reservation is not approved production, and participation does not mean immediate dispatch. Do not assume manufacturing, cancellation, return or refund unless the applicable terms state it.
A designer or factory partnership application is a request for review, not approval. Published articles identify their editorial author and may show dates and sources, but this does not by itself verify a designer’s identity, ownership or production authority. The applicable identity checks, work-review scope, requested evidence and status must be confirmed in the relevant profile or project.
Collaboration describes the parties’ working relationship and roles. Design rights concern who may use, display, modify, license or control a design. Production permission authorizes manufacture of a specified design within an agreed scope. These are separate: a collaboration request or uploaded reference does not transfer ownership, grant exclusivity or authorize manufacturing. Record the applicable terms in writing.
Do not assume that a buyer’s design files will be reused or kept exclusive. An uploaded reference or design file does not transfer rights; permitted production use, licensing, confidentiality and exclusivity must be agreed explicitly. Before submission, identify the files, project, permitted uses and any exclusion of reuse or manufacturing for others. Have the written conditions recorded in the relevant project or support route.
Request confidentiality before submitting files or starting the project. In the relevant account or project, identify the confidential files or information, intended project, permitted access and use, and any handling or disclosure conditions. If the available controls do not cover the request, use the applicable support route. Treat the arrangement as unconfirmed until the relevant parties accept and record written terms.
An original can be customized, repeated or exclusive only when the applicable designer, campaign or project terms expressly allow it. A reference or collaboration request does not transfer design rights, and a pre-order is not automatically approved production. Confirm the specific scope of customization, repeat production, exclusivity, licensing, confidentiality, quantities and approval basis in writing for the style or campaign.
